Should you just buy a fixed asset module or an enterprise asset management suite?
If you run plant across several sites with work orders, preventive schedules, spares and technicians, buy an enterprise asset management suite and give it the implementation it needs. If your accounting platform already carries a fixed asset module your accountant is happy with, use it. Depreo is for the organisation between those two: a few hundred assets and devices, a register that today lives in a spreadsheet, and one person who has to say what the organisation owns and what it is worth without a project.
No competitor price is stated here, deliberately: enterprise asset management suites are quoted per user and per site against contract length rather than published, so any figure would be invented.
